Admin binish pls tell me if my solution of q3 CS101 is right or wrong

Q.3. Convert the following Octal Number to Hexadecimal Number by writing each and every step of conversion process:

(53324)8 => (?)16

 

Answer:

First converting in base 10.

(53324)8 = 4*8^0+2*8^1+3*8^2+3*8^3+5*8^4

(53324)8 = 4*1+2*8+3*64+3*512+5*4096

(53324)8 = 4+16+192+1536+20480

(53324)8 = 22228

 

Now converting into Hexadecimal Number
