Question no.2. Generally there is a concept that "Memory" and "Storage" are same terms. Do                                     you agree? Justify your opinion with a real life example.

Answer:           Basically these are two microprocessor can reach slowly .In memory the data is stored temporarily different terms. Memory is an electronic holding  place for instructions and data that a computer's microprocessor can reach quickly .while storage is the holding place of data in an electromagnetic form and a computer's but in storage data is stored permanently .memory is also called primary or main memory. It is much faster but limited in capability .In almost computers

                                There are tow types of memories                    

(i)                   Ram                       (random access memory)

(ii)                 Rom                       (read only memory

              Memory has directly access to the processor .It stores the data and some or all of the application programmes which is immediately used .Control unit has no access to the data which is in memory or processor .So, we have need a device which is permanent and has not obligation like memory. In this case we use storage dvice, storage devices are hard disks, tapes and other devices.

                              Here is given a comparison between memory and storage

There are two types of storage devices for computer applications programs. For example to calculate the pay-role

of a company,programe should have access to the employee's data. it access one by one at a time It is called sequential Access .and directly access device is used in such a departmental store where the detail of all things is needed in Random order

The file cabinet represents the computer's hard disk, which provides storage for all the files and information you need in your office. When you come in to work, you take out the files you need from storage and put them on your desk for easy access while you work on them. The desk is like memory in the computer: it holds the information and data you need to have handy while you're working.
